I want the audience to see the world through my eyes, to capture the flavor of the world with a unique perspective, to experience my spirituality, and to connect with me. Art for me is a process of self-expression and discovery, I am interested in women's issues, such as the male gaze and gender equality, as this is a hot topic in modern Eastern society, and I am also struggling with the dilemma of "being stared at". So I want to create works that defy reason, resonate with people who share the same experience, and try to escape the dilemmas of the world together. At the same time, the death of a family member was a turning point in my artistic career, and perhaps because I grew up in a happy family, my art rarely focused on this before. After experiencing firsthand the impact that a permanent parting has on those still living, I rethought what comes after death. Based on Eastern society's definition of the world after death and the importance of the reincarnation of life, my series distinguishes itself from other heavy death themes by throwing away black and white color tones, to express a kernel of hope and good wishes for the departed in the afterlife. Death is an unavoidable experience, and perhaps my work is a form of artistic healing for the viewer, or perhaps it makes people realize the emotional weight of the cycle of life in my cultural background. But either way, it is my motivation to continue creating.
